A slate of candidates led by Aerojet Rocketdyne CEO Eileen Drake has received the publicly traded firm’s contentious election for board of administrators, defeating a gaggle led by government chairman and main shareholder Warren Lichtenstein, the Drake crew introduced on 30 June.
The eight-member Drake slate acquired greater than 75% of the votes forged, with Drake receiving over 83%, greater than some other candidate, the CEO’s group wrote in a press launch. Drake’s slate consists of 4 incumbent administrators, together with Drake, and 4 new administrators.
“We look ahead to placing this proxy battle behind us so we will proceed to deal with creating worth for our shareholders,” Drake mentioned.
A spokesperson for the Lichtenstein slate declined to remark.
